Training Schedule:
Poi is the fundamental firedance technique and the gateway to firedancing with staff, batons, num chucks, scarf, ropedart, and ropes. This class is catered to the extreme beginner and is also a great for the experienced spinner who would like to add to his/her movement vocabulary. Instruction is very individualized so that each student can discover his/her own strengths at his/her own pace. Every class includes a jamtime where the music goes up, all instruction and "practicing" pauses, and students begin to flow among the poi moves they already know to create their own delicious dance. Practice poi are provided for class and available for purchase.
